Our Story & Craft
From a small workshop to a precision-manufacturing group
MATSUOPRO is a vertically integrated manufacturer of professional hair and pet-grooming shears, serving brands, salons and distributors in over 40 countries. We combine time-honored hand-forging craftsmanship with modern CNC precision, producing at scale across two manufacturing bases in China — Guangzhou in the south, a long-established beauty-tool cluster, and Zhangjiagang in the east, the Yangtze River Delta’s scissor-manufacturing hub.

Vertically integrated, under one roof
MATSUOPRO is a vertically integrated factory — we control every stage in-house, from raw Japanese steel to the finished, hand-honed shear. Nothing critical is outsourced, which is how we hold both quality and lead times in our own hands. Our facility covers 2,000+ m² with a team of 100+, located in one of China’s established hairdressing-scissor manufacturing hubs.
